Kewaunee C.A.R.E.S

Kewaunee C.A.R.E.S. (Citizens Advancing Responsible Environmental Stewardship) was founded by Lynn and Nancy Utesch of Kewaunee, WI who are organic farmers and advocates. They fight against contamination of land, water and air by CAFO’s (factory farms) which produces LA-MRSA in livestock and in manure from high doses of antibiotics given to livestock for growth purposes. The contaminated manure runs off into streams, lakes, rivers, etc. and aerated onto farm land.
